Day 1

    • Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Kampala

      Activities:

      • Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your professional guide from Wilmark Ventures.

      • Private transfer to your hotel in Kampala (approx. 1–1.5 hours).

      • Check-in, freshen up, and enjoy a leisurely evening.

Day 2

Day 2: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park – Bigodi Wetland Walk

Travel Time: 5–6 hours by road

Activities:

  • After breakfast, depart Kampala and drive west through Uganda’s scenic countryside.

  • Stopovers en route for photography and local snacks.

  • Afternoon arrival at Kibale Forest, home to the largest population of chimpanzees in East Africa.

  • After check-in, embark on the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary nature walk—a rich ecosystem with monkeys, birds, and butterflies, guided by a local community expert.

Day 3

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel Time: Approx. 3 hours

Activities:

  • Early breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing.

  • Begin your chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale, with opportunities to observe these playful primates up close, along with other forest residents like black-and-white colobus monkeys and rare bird species.

  • After lunch, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the scenic crater lakes region.

  • Evening check-in at your lodge, with views of wildlife and the savannah.

Day 4

Day 4: Game Drive – Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

Activities:

  • Morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains: look out for elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kob, and hyenas.

  • Return to the lodge for lunch and rest.

  • Afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, a 32km waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants bathing, and hundreds of water birds.

Day 5

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Optional Community Walk

Travel Time: 4–5 hours (via Ishasha sector or direct route)

Activities:

  • After breakfast, drive through the southern Ishasha sector (optional route) of Queen Elizabeth, known for its tree-climbing lions.

  • Scenic drive through terraced hills, tea plantations, and small towns as you approach Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

  • After check-in at the lodge, optional guided community walk to meet local people, visit craft centers, and learn about traditional life.

Day 6

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Travel Time: 8–9 hours by road or optional domestic flight

Activities:

  • Early breakfast and transfer to the gorilla trekking briefing center.

  • Embark on a life-changing gorilla trekking adventure into Bwindi Forest. Trek can last 2–6 hours depending on gorilla location.

  • Spend one magical hour with a gorilla family—observing their behavior, taking photos, and absorbing the wild beauty.

  • After lunch, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Optional domestic flight available (at additional cost).
